El defensa español Sergio Ramos regresa al Sevilla Fútbol Club luego de 18 años, para jugar una temporada con este equipo que le vio nacer como futbolista.
En un comunicado el club indicó que Ramos llegó a Sevilla “para pasar el reconocimiento médico y firmar su contrato, que le vincula a la entidad nervionense por una temporada”.

Se conoce que Ramos dejó pasar varias ofertas millonarias en Saudí y Turquía, para jugar una temporada con el conjunto andaluz, tras jugar en Paris Saint-Germain, club que abandonó al final de la temporada pasada al expirar su contrato.
“No tenía sentido irme a ningún sitio sin pasar por aquí. Era una deuda con mi abuelo, con mi padre, con el sevillismo, con Puerta… Creo que era el momento”, comentó Ramos tras su llegada al club.
