Mensaje de Nicaragua en la Reunión del “Grupo de Amigos en Defensa de la Carta de la ONU”

MENSAJE DE NICARAGUA EN LA REUNIÓN DE COORDINACIÓN DEL “GRUPO DE AMIGOS EN DEFENSA DE LA CARTA DE LA ONU”.

Teherán, Irán

• Señor Coordinador,
• Señoras y señores distinguidos,

Transmitimos el Fraterno Saludo del Presidente de la República de Nicaragua, Comandante Daniel Ortega Saavedra, y Compañera Vice Presidenta, Rosario Murillo, a Su Excelencia Ayatolá, Alí Khamenei, Líder Supremo de la Revolución Islámica de Irán y a Su Excelencia Ebrahim Raisol-Sadati, Presidente de la República Islámica de Irán.

1. Agradecemos al Gobierno y Pueblo de la Hermana República Islámica de Irán, por su generosa hospitalidad y la organización de este importante encuentro de coordinación del Grupo de Amigos en Defensa de la Carta de la ONU, en esta maravillosa Ciudad de Teherán.
2. Agradecemos al Gobierno la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, por su aporte en visibilizar este grupo en la Asamblea General de Naciones Unidas, sus Comisiones y otros Órganos o Comités respectivos, contribuyendo eficazmente en promover y concretar iniciativas conjuntas, manteniendo la convicción y principios en todas nuestras acciones.
3. Esta reunión, es un ejemplo de los resultados concretos de tantos esfuerzos de todos los presentes, que venimos trabajando desde el año 2021, para visibilizar y fortalecer nuestro Grupo de Amigos, forjando un Mundo Multipolar, siendo la voz que hace eco a un Orden más Justo y Equitativo, convencidosque el respeto y la defensa de los principiosde la Carta de Naciones Unidas es fundamental para la Paz Mundial.
4. Nicaragua saluda la iniciativa de contar con una Declaración Política en esta reunión de coordinación. En estos tiempos de crisis múltiples, es crucial continuar reafirmando el derecho internacional, el multilateralismo y el espíritu, principios y propósitos de la Carta de las Naciones Unidas.
5. Para Nicaragua es de suma importancia que esta Declaración resalte la necesidad de condenar y exigir el fin de todas las medidas coercitivas unilaterales, las cuales, en tiempos de pandemia y post pandemia constituyen un crimen de lesa humanidad, e incluso tienen un efecto devastador en nuestros esfuerzos para la implementación de la Agenda 2030 y sus Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenibles, sobre todo en nuestra lucha por la erradicación de la pobreza y el desarrollo humano.
6. Asimismo, consideramos que esta Declaración reafirma la convicción de nuestros pueblos y Gobiernos sobre lo indispensable de preservar los principios de independencia y soberanía, establecidos en la Carta de las Naciones Unidas, y el respeto a la igualdad soberana de los Estados con base en el derecho internacional.

Señor Coordinador:

7. Nicaragua valora y promueve con firmeza el multilateralismo, la cooperación, la solidaridad como principio y valores que debemos aplicar para enfrentar todas las crisis presentes y futuras, incluyendo la crisis climática.
8. Defendemos firmemente el principio del respeto a la igualdad de derechos y la igualdad soberana de todos los Estados Miembros de las Naciones Unidas. Rechazamos la selectividad, los dobles raseros y la hegemonía que quieren imponer las potencias occidentales en contra de nuestros países.

9. Rechazamos tajantemente la violación al principio de la No Injerencia en los asuntos internos de Irán y en nuestros países y la nefasta política de los cambios de Gobiernos,mediante campañas mediáticas y agentes del imperio que promueven golpes de Estados. Reiteramos que cada pueblo es garante de su paz y debe defenderla con amor, convicción y determinación.
10. Reafirmamos la búsqueda del anhelado entendimiento, la convivencia pacífica entre Naciones, reconociendo el principio de la solución pacífica de las controversias internacionales por los medios que ofrece el derecho internacional.
11. Nicaragua quiere expresar su plena solidaridad con los Pueblos y Gobiernos que sufren la imposición de estas sanciones ilegales que son acciones criminales e inhumanas contra la humanidad. Pueden contar con el trabajo y solidaridad de Nicaragua para el desarrollo y avance de este Grupo, porque confiamos que juntos los Pueblos del Mundo, debemos hacer respetar la Carta de las Naciones Unidas para alcanzar la tan anhelada Paz en nuestra Madre Tierra.

MEETING OF THE «GROUP OF FRIENDS IN
DEFENSE OF THE UN CHARTER».

• Mr. Coordinator,

• Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, 

We extend the fraternal greetings of the President of the Republic of Nicaragua, Comandante Daniel Ortega Saavedra, and Compañera Vice President, Rosario Murillo, to H.E. Ayatollah, Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and H.E. Ebrahim Raisol-Sadati, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

1. We thank the Government and People of the Brotherly Islamic Republic of Iran, for their generous hospitality and the organization of this important coordination meeting of the Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter, in this wonderful city of Tehran.
2. We thank the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for its contribution in making this group visible in the United Nations General Assembly, its Committees and other respective bodies or Committees, contributing effectively in promoting and implementing joint initiatives, maintaining the conviction and principles in all our actions.
3. This meeting is an example of the concrete results achieved by collective efforts of all here present, who have been working since 2021, to strengthen our Group of Friends and make it more relevant, forging a multipolar world, being the voice that echoes for a just and more equitable order, convinced that respect and defense of the principles of the United Nations Charter is fundamental for World Peace.
4. Nicaragua welcomes the initiative of having a Political Declaration in this coordination meeting. In these times of multiple crises,it is crucial to continue reaffirming international law, multilateralism and the spirit, principles and purposes of the United Nations Charter.
5. For Nicaragua it is of utmost importance that this Declaration highlights the need to condemn and demand an end to all unilateral coercive measures, which, in times of pandemic and post-pandemic constitute a crime against humanity, having a devastating effect on our efforts to implement the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals, especially in our struggle for poverty eradication and human development.
6. We also consider that this Declaration reaffirms the conviction of our peoples and governments on the indispensability of preserving the principles of independence and sovereignty, established in the Charter of the United Nations, and respect for the sovereign equality of States based on international law.

7. Nicaragua values and strongly promotes multilateralism, cooperation and solidarity as principles and values that we must apply to confront all present and future crises, including the climate crisis.
8. We firmly defend the principle of respect for the equal rights and sovereign equality of all Member States of the United Nations. We reject the selectivity, double standards and hegemony that the Western powers want to impose against our countries.

9. We categorically reject the violation of the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of Iran and our countries and the nefarious policy of changing governments through media campaigns and agents of the empire that promote coups d’états. We reiterate that each people is the guarantor of its peace and must defend it with love, conviction and determination.
10. We reaffirm the search for the long-awaited understanding, peaceful coexistence among nations, recognizing the principle of the peaceful settlement of internationaldisputes by the means offered by international law.
11. Nicaragua wishes to express its full solidarity with the peoples and governments that suffer the imposition of these illegal sanctions which are criminal and inhuman actions against humanity. You can count on the work and solidarity of Nicaragua for the development and progress of this Group, because we trust that together the peoples of the world, we must enforce respect for the Charter of the United Nations to achieve the long-awaited peace on our Mother Earth.
