En conmemoración al 43 aniversario del triunfo de la Revolución Popular Sandinista, las familias de Nueva Segovia, recorrieron las calles de los 12 municipios.
“Estamos caminando para celebrar los 43 años del triunfo de nuestra revolución popular, que se han sintetizado en cada obra de progreso y de bienestar que desarrolla nuestro presidente Daniel Ortega, para las familias nicaragüenses”, expresó Nubia Esperanza López, Secretaria Política.

Mientras que Yerald Lago, de la Juventud Sandinista, indicó, “hoy más que nunca, la juventud de Nueva Segovia nos comprometemos a seguir trabajando, para garantizar el bienestar y la seguridad de nuestras familias a través de cada bien solidario en el que somos los principales protagonistas”.
Por su parte, Luis Carlos Acuña de Ocotal remarcó, “estamos unidos para seguir respaldando a nuestro presidente Daniel Ortega y la vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo a 43 años del grandioso triunfo que nos llevó a la victoria; seguimos avanzando por el Progreso”.
La caminata concluyó con un festival de música revolucionaria en el que artistas locales se dieron cita para rememorar y saludar el 43 veces 19.
