El FBI buscó documentos relacionados con armas nucleares en la mansión de Trump. Los registros buscados incluían documentos clasificados, según ha informado el diario ‘The Washington Post’.
Expertos en información clasificada consultados por el citado diario han asegurado que los agentes federales mostraron una “profunda preocupación” durante la búsqueda de documentos, ya que pensaron que información sobre armas nucleares podrían estar en peligro, ya que potencialmente podían caer en las manos equivocadas.
No obstante, no ha trascendido si dichas armas pertenecían a Estados Unidos o si bien eran documentos recuperados de otros países.

El informe del Post se produce después de que el Departamento de Justicia (DOJ) presentara una moción para solicitar que un tribunal de Florida revele la orden de allanamiento ejecutada por el FBI, firmada por el fiscal general de EE UU, Merrick Garland, y después de las acusaciones de Trump sobre una supuesta persecución por parte de los agentes federales y la Administración Biden.
“El interés claro y poderoso del público en comprender lo que ocurrió bajo estas circunstancias pesa mucho a favor de la revelación”, ha expresado el Departamento de Justicia y ha podido saber ‘The Hill’.
“No solo no me voy a oponer a la publicación de documentos relacionados con la redada impropia de EE UU, injustificada e innecesaria de mi casa en Palm Beach (Florida), sino que voy un paso más allá y animo a su publicación inmediata”, escribió Trump.
El exmandatario tildó lo ocurrido de uso político de la fuerza de la ley, sacó pecho por el supuesto apoyo que tiene en las encuestas y acusó la operación de estar orquestada por la izquierda radical y por sus enemigos políticos.
