Queridos Hermanos,
En nombre del Pueblo y Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional de la República de Nicaragua, y en el nuestro propio, nos complace expresar nuestras más sinceras felicitaciones al Hermano Pueblo y Gobierno de la República Federal Democrática de Etiopía en ocasión de la conmemoración de su Día Nacional, fecha histórica que recuerda la caída del régimen del Derg en 1991 y el inicio de un Nuevo Capítulo de Soberanía, Autodeterminación y Esperanza para su Nación.
En este día tan significativo, hacemos llegar nuestro saludo fraterno, reconociendo el coraje, la dignidad y la resistencia del Pueblo etíope en su Lucha por la Justicia, la Paz y el Desarrollo Integral.
Desde Nicaragua, tierra de Sandino, reiteramos nuestra voluntad de continuar fortaleciendo los Lazos de Amistad, Cooperación y Solidaridad que históricamente han unido a nuestros Pueblos y Gobiernos, en defensa de los Principios de Soberanía, No Injerencia y Respeto Mutuo.

On behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and on our own behalf, we are pleased to express our heartfelt congratulations to the Brother People and Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on the occasion of the commemoration of your National Day, a historic date that commemorates the fall of the Derg regime in 1991 and the beginning of a new chapter of sovereignty, self-determination and hope for your Nation.
